Things that Rip/Shred.

Well this doesn't really "rip" or "shred" but I wanted to share:

It's a logo for my ladyfriend Sara's burgeoning baking business (I know, there was too much alliteration in that sentence). Very 70's fast-food. And I wanted it to be as fat and thick as possible, because I'm into that. And Gill Sans Ultra Bold was the most heavyweight font I could find without making my own. So there you go. But don't blow your cookies just yet.

In other news, I've decided I'm quitting my job and opening a taco stand:

Yeah, I know it's a shameless knock-off of the Santa Cruz logo. I've been subconsciously in love with Jim Phillips' artwork for years, before I even knew who he was. I think it all goes back to when I used to draw flying eyeball comics in second grade. And there's some Shawn Wolfe in there too, he's been an influence for a while before I ever actually realized it (track down some BeatkitĀ® posters for me, please). I mean, I have this illustration I drew years ago tattooed on my leg, to give you some idea:

Fer sher, brah.
